4 x 16" Staggered Porsche Phonedials *rare*
Took me a while to find these and hoped to put them on a future MKIII purchase. But seeing how there's only garbage in my price range I'll stop looking for now, so these wheels are for sale.
Two are painted a vibrant orange/red color (flat) and the lips are clear coated to give a nice contrast. I'll do the other two next weekend or if the buyer prefers they can be sold as is. They would look great on a white or black MKIII.
The wheels will come with adapters made to the buyer's spec (either 4x100->5x130 or 5x100->5x130)
Price: $SOLD!

Hot Rod Alfa Romeo Sedan: 1970 Giulia 1300 Ti
This next entry touches close to home. With the Alfa Romeo Giulia becoming a rarer and rarer piece to come by, it is always nice to see once surface on the market.
This one doesn't have its original engine, which was swapped for a more powerful unit.
My father has a fully original 1300ti that he has contemplated selling for a while now. One thing is for sure, once it's gone we won't see another one like it.
Here is the BAT entry:
3/15/2008 Update: This Giulia has been re-listed here on eBay and the Buy-It-Now price has been reduced. Check out the comments section, as it sounds like several readers have seen this car in person. We have updated the photo links below.
3/11/2008 Update: This Alfa did not met reserve at $14,100 with 4 bidders. The $20k Buy-It-Now was not selected.
From 3/7/2008:
This Giulia Ti sedan has a very clean body and was upgraded with a 2L engine, lowered Bilstein suspension, and 15″ Panasports. You may have seen this car if you were at the Cars & Coffee event last Saturday in Irvine. It shows very well. Find it here on eBay out of Santa Ana, California.
We usually prefer the quad-lamp look on the Super models, but this Ti makes up for it with very nice trim and the right stance. The paint is the original color, and the seller claims it has absolutely zero rust. That is very rare on these cars.
The rear end design is a classic, and the sale also includes the factory steel wheels. We would consider powderd coating them red or green for an interesting contrast. The interior is in fantastic condition with a nice Nardi wheel and a very original dash. The vintage radio and dash badge are great items.
The engine is an upgraded 2L unit and is fed by twin Weber carbs. This is our favorite Alfa powertrain, and offers quite an improvement over the original 1.3L. It is backed by a 5-speed transmission.
This is a great looking car and a competent performer with these upgrades. These sedans have become quite popular in the last two years, and the minimal rust will give this example some notoriety. We would love to add a period Italian front plate and some Carello lighting, then just play with the wheel/tire combo every few months to stay entertained. This is a great car.
