EUROWHEELZ Feature: Old School 15" Porsche Mesh Wheels

Very nice and straight set of 15" Porsche wheels
No details are stamped on the rear of the wheels, but here's what I gathered:

5x130
15x7
et38

They seem to be 3 piece wheels (see seal around barrels in pics) and the center is removable. These wheels need a good cleaning but are definitely a rare find!
Only one has very minor curb rash but they all seem very straight.

24-Car Lot: Dream Vintage Rally Collection

This 24-car rally collection is being offered as a single lot and includes seven Audi Quattro team cars. One of the younger members of the group is a 1996 Ford Escort Cosworth in Repsol livery and the oldest is a purpose-built 1963 Volvo P544. Find the entire group here from Morris & Welford out of the UK. Special thanks to BaT reader Curt G. for this submission!

Audi Ford Lancia WRC FIA European Rally Car Collection

This is a truly outstanding group, as our attention would have been grabbed even if only one of these cars was available. To build our ideal collection, we would buy the lot and then sell off three to four Audis to fund some more variety. We would also trade out the Sunbeam, the Sunny, one VW, and the Peugeot for a Gr-B Toyota Celica, the iconic Rothmans Porsche 959, a works Mini Cooper S, and a works Austin Healey 3000.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport revealed

Photobucket

Bugatti has official revealed the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport - the open-top, convertible, targa top or whatever you want to call it Veyron. Bugatti didn’t just pull the roof off the Veyron coupe - engineers made a few changes to create the world’s fastest roadster.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport has a slightly higher windscreen, re-styled daytime running lights and a lightweight transparent polycarbonate roof. It was the removable roof that was the main challenge for engineers. The monocoque structure has been strengthened around the side-skirts along with a stiffened B-pillars using carbon fiber support. The interior features moisture-resistant backstitched leather with some new features such as a reversing camera with a 2.7-inch monitor in the rear-view-mirror and the Puccini sound system.

Power comes from the W16 1001 horsepower engine that allows for a top speed of 253mph with the top closed and 190mph with the roof off. With the folding roof in place top speed is limited to a very low 81mph.

Bugatti will produce only 150 units of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport - 50 of which are already going to registered Bugatti customers. The first unit will be sold to at the Pebble Beach Auction with the proceeds going to charity.

2009 Maserati Quattroporte

Arguably the most desirable saloon in the world today, the Maserati Quattroporte, has gone under the knife for it's mid-life nip and tuck. The changes made to the shape are quite minimal (thank god), and mainly comprise of a revised corporate grill with vertical slats, new LED tail light graphics, and slightly tweaked front and rear bumpers. The subtle changes maintain the Quattroporte's gorgeous stature while bringing the details in line with the company's new GranTurismo coupe. The Quattroporte will undoubtedly go down as one of the modern classic automotive designs. It still looks as breathtaking now as it did back in 2004 when it was launched. A handful of new alloy wheel designs complete the make-over outside.
Photobucket
2009 Maserati Quattroporte Update Inside, the centre console has been re-worked for easier use, as cars of this class are filled to the brim with countless features and gadgetry. Thankfully, Maserati's troublesome satellite navigation system has also been upgraded, and is now incoporated in what they're calling the 'Maserati Multimedia System'. For you and I, this essentially means all systems and controls are better intergrated now, with one primary interface, not unlike BMW's i-drive. There are also two new leather hues to choose from, along with countless others already on offer.
Photobucket
2009 Maserati Quattroporte Update The biggest news with this update is the re-allignment of variants. There now being two to choose from - the base Quattroporte and the Quattroporte S. The entry level car has a 4.2L V8 capable of 298KW, while the S gets a new 4.7L V8 good for 320KW. Both cars are available with a smooth ZF 6-speed self-shifter. This full automatic thankfully replaces the horrible clutchless manual that was a mess to use. The new 6-speed should widen the Quattroporte's appeal now, as the lack of a true automatic always hurt sales as most people who buy these luxo barges usually don't want to change their own gears.
Photobucket
2009 Maserati Quattroporte Update Italian coachbuilding company Superleggera has also announced they will build their stunning Bellagio Fastback Touring in limited numbers. The Bellagio is essentially a Quattroporte with a re-worked, custom rear end, turning it into the ultimate family estate. The extra cargo space now gives the car 1500 litre9080605009mini1ls of space, and the new shape only adds 50 kgs over the standard saloon. With the same basic V8 and running gear as the Quattroporte saloon, the Touring is one extremely desirable and exclusive wagon. If you want one then get on the next flight to Milan, as there will only be 25 built. An instant classic then.

Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Photobucket

After a long wait we can finally show you the new Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

The F430 Scuderia is an addition to the Ferrari range and it will be sold alongside the F430 Coupé and the F430 Spider. All thre F430s will share the same mechanical underpinnings, but the Scuderia will be lighter and more powerful, much nearer a race-car.

The Ferrari F430 Scuderia showcasees, once again, Ferrari’s expertise in competition and its willingness to transfer know-how from the racetrack to the road.

Photobucket

The F430 Scuderia has an incredbile 2,45 kg/hp power to weight ratio, the result of its 510 hp engine (at 8,500 rpm) and of a weight of only 1.250 kg. For a comparison, the new Porsche 997 GT2 has 530 hp with a weight of 1,430 kg, the same as the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera (530 Cv e 1.430 kg).

The F430 Scuderia will also have a newer version of the software that manages the semi-automatic gearbox, capable of reducing change times to 60 ms. There’s also a new traction control system that integrates the electronic differential E-Diff with the stability control system F1-Trac.

Car pics from my visit to Italy.

Alright, here are the pics.
I'm assuming everyone knows what the cars posted are, but if anyone wants a description of any particular picture, feel free to let me know.
The phallic symbol was a good luck symbol against the 'evil eye' in the destroyed city of Pompei (appx. 60AD).
